• Visit Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture's Peak) - a favored meditation place and Venuvana - the first monastery donated to Buddha by a King

• Post Lunch visit Nalanda - one of the world's first residential universities and a renowned center for Buddhist learning. Visit the University Ruins & Archaeological Museum

• Morning, drive to Varanasi (approx. 5-6 hrs) - one of the oldest living cities and a significant spiritual center in India.

• Check into the hotel in Varanasi and relax after the long drive

• Evening, attend the Ganga Aarti (Prayer Ceremony) at Dashashwamedh Ghat

• Post-breakfast, visit Sarnath - where Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment, also known as the Dharmachakra Pravartana (Turning of the Wheel of Dharma).

• Return to Varanasi for a leisurely evening and a boat ride on the Ganges

• Early morning, Drive to Kushinagar (approx. 6-7 hours) - the place where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana (final nirvana) after his death
